At least four weeks before arrival:
Free cancellation for guest with 100% refund. Host may cancel the booking without any penalty.
Less than 4 weeks before arrival:
If we can fill in the date with a new booking then the same applies as above, guest will receive a refund amount, minus a cancellation / administration fee of 5% of the booking value. If we fail to fill in the date with a new booking. 50% of the booking value is charged. Host may cancel the booking with of 50% of the booking value.
Less than 2 weeks before arrival:
If we can fill in the date with a new booking then the same applies as above, guest will receive a refund amount, minus a cancellation / administration fee of 5% of the booking value. If we fail to fill in the date with a new booking. Nothing will be refunded. Host may cancel the booking with a refound of 100% of the booking value.
Cancellation due to illness or accident:
Guest will receive a refund amount except a cancellation / administration fee of 5% of the booking value, regardless of when cancellation occurs. Applies only when presenting a medical certificate or equivalent that can substantiate the reason.
Date change request:
We always try to help if a guest wish to change the dates of the booking, provided that another available date is available.
Bad weather:
Exceptions are not made from the cancellation rules due to "Common" Swedish weather, winds, cold and rain.
Force Majeure
Customer and host may cancel the booking without any penalty.
The following events are covered by this policy if they affect your booking location, occur after the time of booking and prevent or legally prohibit the execution of a future or ongoing booking (referred to in this policy as "Events"):
Declared public health crises and epidemics. These include government-recognized epidemics, pandemics, and public health crises. These do not include diseases that are endemic (eg influenza) or commonly associated with an area (eg malaria in Thailand). COVID-19 is not covered by the Comprehensive Disruption Policy.
Travel restrictions from authorities. Mandatory travel restrictions imposed by an authority, e.g. an evacuation order. This does not include non-binding travel advice and similar guidance from authorities.
Military actions and other hostilities. Acts of war, hostilities, invasions, civil wars, terrorism, explosions, bombings, revolts, riots and insurrections.
Large-scale disruption of essential services. Prolonged interruptions in important services such as heat, water and electricity that affect the vast majority of residences in a certain location.
Natural disasters. Natural disasters and other severe weather conditions. Weather or natural conditions that are common enough to be predictable in a particular location – e.g. hurricanes occurring during the Baltic Sea hurricane season - are covered only when they result in another event covered by this policy. This must prevent the booking from being carried out, e.g. a mandatory evacuation order or large-scale disruption of essential public services.
